Galvanised Outdoor Cage

The Galvanised Outdoor mesh cage has been designed and installed to go around 3 outdoor air-conditioning units that the customer didn’t want anyone getting close to. The outdoor cage was installed on a slight slope in a service area at the rear of the newly refurbished unit, so we had to increase the height of the partitioning at the front to make sure that the cage was square to the wall and the doors aligned correctly.

The doors across the front were centralised on the air-conditioning units so that they could easily be removed if they had issues with them. At each side, the side sections can be removed from the outside of the cage as well, with security fixings to enable easier access for servicing and working on the air-conditioning units.

The hot dipped galvanised outdoor cage is based around the standard mesh partitioning system with just a few minor changes, including the 40mm x 40mm box section frame doors to give them extra support. All the doors will be fitted with padlocks by the end customer.
