Mains Electrical Board Fencing Leicester

We supplied and installed this mesh electrical panel fence, or mesh security cage, inside a new warehouse in Leicester. The customer was concerned that the open electrical panels would be easy for staff and contractors to access, and wanted only dedicated maintenance and trained staff to have access to the electrical panels and the air conditioning room controls on the outside of the building.

With a number of control panels next to each other, the customer wanted enough space to access them, so we split the front elevation into 3 and installed 3 large sliding doors across it. This was also due to the limited access behind a newly installed production office on site.

The cage was fitted with sliding doors with hasp and staples so the customer can use standard padlocks as needed, although at some stage they may install access control systems linked to their own on site systems.

The mesh security cage was shipped to Leicester and took 2 of our installers 1 day to fit. It was finished in standard black RAL 9005 with the standard 50mm x 50mm mesh. These cages can also be supplied in 25mm x 25mm mesh, expanded metal, half solid half mesh, all solid, or with mesh hatches for loading through when used as a storeroom. Other standard colours are available, as well as bespoke colours.
