Mesh Security Cages & Storage Cages

We have recently supplied and installed a variety of mesh storage cages and security cages at a customer’s site on Biggin Hill Airport. The storage cages were on a mezzanine floor high above the workshop and aircraft hangar below.

These storage cages were to be used by the various departments within the aircraft hanger for securely store each of their own tools and parts for the different aircraft that they had within the hangar.

Across the rear of each security cage, we install a higher mesh partitioning allowing the customer to store more parts up against the edge of the mezzanine floor, and we are working with the customer to install pallet racking on the floor to allow them to store more products within each of the security cages we have created.

Most of the security cages were fitted with sliding doors, giving the customer more space on the mezzanine floor to store other items on the inside against a wall.

The security cages were supplied with standard 50mm x 50mm mesh, but they can also be supplied in 25mm x 25mm mesh, expanded metals or half mesh, half solid sheet steel panels, depending on your requirements.

The installation took 3 days for 2 guys at Biggin Hill Airport, South London.
