Pallet Gates & Mezzanine Floor Gates Castleford

Billington Safety Systems recently supplied and installed 2 new pallet gates on a tiered mezzanine floor, where we had originally supplied mesh panels and mesh protection around the edge of the floor.

The customer originally had 3m wide pallet gates installed by another supplier when the floor was put in. After the install they realised that the gates were far too wide and heavy for some of the warehouse staff to operate, so they needed them changing for much smaller gates.

We stripped out one gate at a time, installed the new pallet gates and then reinstated the hand and knee rail to the edge of the floor, finishing off with 2.2m high mesh panels to complete the install.

This project was a 2 day install for 3 of our installers, including lifting materials up to the top tier of the mezzanine floor and removing all scrap material into the customer’s skips on site.
