Security And Aerosol Cage Dublin

We supply and install a large number of aerosol and security cages throughout the country; this particular security cage was installed by our team of installers in Dublin. After the initial quote for the project, we went over to Ireland to do a site survey to confirm all the requirements for the project. The Aerosol cage was moved around the building to get its final position, which was underneath the building structure on 1 side and up to the underside of the roof on the other 2 sides. The Security cage was then cut to fit around the building structure, cable trays and fire extinguishing system.

The cage had 4 large self-closing sliding doors which, in normal operation, will be held open via a maglock system connected to the fire alarm system, and when this is activated, the doors are released so that they close. These doors can still be operated manually in case anyone wanted to get out of the cage through these, but we also supplied single-access fire doors to the side of each of the doors to allow pedestrians to get out of the aerosol cage in an emergency.

The Security cage was shipped over to Ireland on 2 full curtain sided vehicles before the arrival of the installation team. The installation team of 4 guys were over in Dublin for 2 weeks and completed this ahead of schedule, finished in standard yellow and standard mesh 25mm x 25mm.

The doorways can also be fitted with roller shutter doors if required dependent on your requirements for the project, since the visit the customer has also installed a camera system and the fire alarm release mechanisms.
