Bespoke Guarding Project London

This bespoke guarding project was installed onto a refurbished machine in London; the customer took off polycarbonate panels without a framework that were well used and covered in product spills. We installed mild steel powder coated frame panels with polycarbonate infills to best fit around the machine. Due to the location the machine will be in there was a large telescopic sliding door on one side to give full access into the machine for the operator to access any blockages that might occur.

On the opposite side, 2 doors were installed, one being a bi-folding door and the other a smaller single door. We still have a couple of infill panels to supply, as well as a bespoke tunnel guard over the outfeed conveyor that is shown in the pictures, so a return visit will be needed to complete the project.

Panels were finished in the same white as the newly refurbished machine, making it look as though it’s a new machine all round.

They go through the machine requirements, access needed, and design the guarding accordingly, and supply you with CAD drawings for your and your customers’ approval before anything is manufactured.
