Industrial Barrier / Safety Barriers

Recently we supplied and installed an Industrial safety barrier around the edge of a mezzanine floor and above an office block. The customer was suing this area to install packaging products in this area and although these where higher than the handrail the main issue was people working in this area without any edge protection.

The handrail was supplied with a mesh infill to prevent small object falling through the handrail, the industrial barriers were also supplied with a built in kickplate as per mezzanine floor regulations, as well as a knee rail at 550mm and the top handrail at 1100mm high. The barriers have a post every 2.4m apart and were fixed to the concrete floor with anchor fixings. The handrail did incorporate 1 single swinging gate for loading and unloading the floor.

Supplied and installed in Yellow RAL1018 in Rotherham, in 1 day for 2 Men.
