Machine Guarding Doncaster

The low-level machine guarding was supplied and installed in Doncaster around a Saw that will be used for cutting metal to length, The metal was to be loaded at one end of the machine through a cut-out in the mesh and onto a table.

Metal lengths are cut at a time and then fed into the machine, and these are then cut to length and ejected from the machine into a metal bin. The machine guarding was made up of standard modular panels and standard doors, apart from one specially designed door at the operator end, which would allow the metal bin to be removed for processing. The doors were supplied with standard latches, but the customer will then install their interlocks at a later stage.

Standard colour of the fencing is Black RAL9005 on the panels and Yellow RAL1018 on the posts. Mesh size is 100mm x 20mm welded to an angle frame on 2 sides with 3 cross supports for extra rigidity.
