Mezz Floor Guard Sheffield

Recently supplied and installed a mezz floor guard / mezz edge protection around the perimeter of a mezzanine floor with an up-and-over pallet gate, the mezz guard was 2200mm high and supplied in our standard 50mm x 50mm mesh with a built-in kickplate at the bottom of the panels to prevent items being kicked off the floor onto people below, the area will be used by the customer to store boxes and pallets so the mesh was ideal for this job, but solid sheet steel can be used to hide items as well.

With this being around the edge of a mezzanine floor the posts are every panel and there is a built-in handrail, the panels we cut to go around the building structure on the ends. The up-and-over pallet gate was made to suit the customer’s pallet/box sizes but there are standard ones available if required and come in various types depending on the space available on the mezzanine floor and can be powder coated in any colour.

Installation of this took 2 days, with the materials being delivered to the site the day we started the installation.
