Safety Fencing for Hartlepool

We have supplied and installed a safety fencing to go around the edge of a moving carousel at around 10m off the floor, the carousel has 3 locations or stopping positions, so the carousel was split in 3 safe working zones by the fencing, with a corridor on and off the extended mezzanine floor platform that had a safety fencing installed onto is as well, the sliding door to the platform area was interlocked and would only allow access to the platform when the carousel reach a set position.

This gives safe access on and off the platform for the engineers working on the machine and means that they don’t have to wear safety harnesses when on the platform.

The fencing was supplied with 50mm x 50mm mesh as it wasn’t there to protect from any moving parts behind, just as a barrier to stop access to the open edges of the other sections, and only giving access to one section at a time from the main platform when the carousel moved positions.

The safety fencing was supplied and installed in Hartlepool and took 3 guys 2 days to install. Our customer had welded mounting plates in set positions from our design drawings so we could make sure that everything line up perfectly.

With a different mesh size, like 20mm x 100mm or 25mm x 25mm, we can make the same system as a machine guarding or a perimeter guarding system.

Finished in Yellow Posts RAL 1018 and Black Panels 9005 as standard, but we can powder coat in any other BS or RAL colour you want.
