Safety fencing Rotherham

Machine Guarding & Perimeter fencing was supplied and installed around a shot blasting machine to prevent access to the rear of the machine when it is running, and the small metal pellets are fired at the parts at high speed.

The parts are loading onto an overhead conveyor track, and to allow these parts to enter the machine, the fencing panels in this area and on the exit side were lowered to allow the parts to go in and out of the guarding enclosure.

The enclosure incorporates 3 single access doors for operators to access the machine when needed through the new access control and interlock system that they will install, meaning safe access at all times for the operators.

As well as the single access doors, we supplied 2 larger telescopic sliding doors to each side of the shotblast machine to allow the forklift trucks to gain access as and when they needed to. These doors have no top rail or sliding door rail above, and so this gives clear access with no restrictions on height.

Fencing system has a mesh size of 20mm x 100mm and 2300mm high with a 100mm floor gap underneath, the panels have an angle framed down the 2-sided and 3 box section cross supports.

The posts are 2300mm high and are from a 60mm x 60mm box section. Panels finished in Black RAL 9005 & Posts in Yellow RAL 1018, but we can powder coat this in any other BS and RAL colours you prefer.
