Safety Fencing for Swadlincote

The guarding was supplied and installed in Swadlincote around a strip metal loading machine, the machine pulls strip metal from a coil through the machine to press and cut the sheet steel to length.

We removed the old guarding from around the machine before installing the new guarding, the new guarding had a large double door for access to the coil section for loading and unloading the machine via the overhead crane and Forklift truck, so the door didn’t have any top bracing bar support so no obstruction and clear entry.

Within the Machine guarding there was also 1 single operator access door for when the start up process was needed but during normal operation the machine controls were outside the machine guarding enclosure ensuring a safe process. At the other side of the machine we allowed a cut out in the machine guarding for the product to exit the enclosure as a part finished product, it then moved further down the line to another machine to complete the process which was guarded off by us on an earlier project.

The machine guarding which was used on this project was from 20mm x 20mm box section frame with a 20mm x 100mm mesh welded to and to an overall height of 2020mm with a 1900mm panel and a 100mm floor gap underneath e the guarding.

Panels supplied in standard Black RAL 9005 and posts in standard yellow RAL 1018, Other powder coating colours can be done upon request.
